Okay – I have to eat my words regarding Joshua being my ultimate favorite horse to ride. His son, Surfer Dude, has now taken that place. Although I didn’t think a horse could equal Joshua in terms of smoothness of gait, ground-eating walk, or overall athleticism – I was incorrect. Surfer Dude is all his daddy was, and more. With that gorgeous dished face and cute little tippy ears, huge bone and great feet, stunning hip and breadth of chest – Surfer Dude is a package that is truly incredible. He has such natural carriage and a wonderfully willing, happy attitude that folks just can’t pass by without stopping to ask about him.
